The internet is a fantastic and wondrous environment. It provides information, entertainment, and just about everything in between. It is the “in-between” aspect that should be concerning to parents of young children.
A child with unsupervised access to the internet can easily find themselves exposed to non-age appropriate materials and literature. Parents also need to be aware of the very real threat that online predators can pose to kids and young adults.
In an effort to combat these internet hazards, our friends at CTV Northern Ontario and Conseil scolaire catholique de district des Grandes-Rivières invited us to participate in a series of television spots that seek to bring awareness to these very important issues.
Here at Logikal Code, we consider it an honour to have been involved in a project with such an essential piece of messaging and would like to thank both CTV and the CSCDGR for including us in such a meaningful campaign.
Given that technology is so prevalent nowadays, SafeKids.com chose to develop and share some great templates for family “contracts” which aim to ensure that each member of the family is using the internet safely and responsibly.
